Effect of Thermal And Chemical Disintegratıon on The Enhance of Biogas Production in Waste Activated Sludge

Sludge disintegration methods are pre-treatment applied to eliminate the hydrolysis phase, which is rate limiting step in decay process of wastewater sludge, increase degree stabilization and amount biogas formed. In this study, effect different (thermal chemical) on solubility sludge was investigated by examining changes dissolved chemical oxygen demand parameter. studies conducted within scope thermal disintegration, waste activated subjected heat treatment block heaters closed tubes. case alkali experiments, NaOH added such that pH 10 11.As a result production found 202.5, 189.8, 104 80.5 ml from alkaline inoculum+raw inoculum BMP test, respectively. Both study have positively affected efficiency biogas. Thermal method seems be more effective terms productivity.
